Hilde's Salon Vienna has been a Hanover – Dartmouth College area tradition since 1966, having seen many progressive changes over the years. After working at the salon for 30 years, Margot took over the family business established by her mother, Hilde, in 1994, when the salon was moved to its current location at 80 South Main Street.

Margot understands the importance of keeping current with the latest hair styles and treatments, and employs a staff of twelve talented, professionally-trained stylists. She believes that optimum hair care centers on cut and color, as well as the use of quality hair products. She also recognizes the value of skin care especially when started early, particularly for active, sports-oriented individuals.

Hilde’s versatile staff caters to a wide variety of hair and skin care needs for men, women, and youth of all ages—from classic to trendy hair cuts, color and texturizing, to full-body waxing, facials and nail care. Custom hair color is a specialty at Hilde’s providing a fun and fashionable step into a new dimension. Special ethnic hair styling services are provided monthly by two guest stylists.
